Senior captain Nathan Moore concluded his impressive collegiate career Friday morning as he dropped a 7-2 decision to Maryland's Hudson Taylor in the second consolation round. The score stayed that way for another 1:21, but Patacsil finally gained control with a solid double-leg takedown and quickly tilted Hurley to his back for a three-point nearfall to seal the win. Patacsil escaped to cut the lead to one, but headed into the final frame trailing by one. After a scoreless first period, Hurley took a 2-0 lead with a quick reversal in the second. Sophomore Jake Patacsil was the only Boilermaker to score in the second day of the tournament, rallying with a third-period comeback to topple Ryan Hurley of Cleveland State in the second consolation round, 6-2. The Boilers compiled eight points in their two days of competition and their final placing is yet to be determined. The Purdue University wrestling team completed its season at the 2007 NCAA Wrestling Championships, hosted by the University of Michigan at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Friday, as all four Boilermaker grapplers were eliminated from the wrestle-back brackets.
